Hello hello, its been a while since I've been able to do a blog post. As much as I would like to blog each and every session my life right now just doesn't allow for me to have that time. Yes, I run my entire business by myself and I am beyond blessed to be able to do this full time as my career; I also have two little rugrats that take 98% of my time through out each waking hour. 2018 is off to a great start and I am so excited to share with ya'll some new things I have been doing to better my business. Firstly at the top of the list...new website people, woo hoo! Please do look around once you finished reading this post. Secondly that leads to a whole new look for my photos. This past year I have been trying out all sorts of different lightings and editing styles that best suited my passion. Well I am pleased to announce that I have gone through all the behind the scene editing and tweaks to give the look that is just for AMANDA RACHELLE PHOTOGRAPHY. Lastly, I AM BACK IN BUSINESS FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY. I took the last two years off as my youngest was just a little babe but its time and I am back. So of course that leads me to this post of ERIC + LUCY'S engagement session. These two have a undeniable connection and chemistry that is so easily seen within the first minutes of seeing them together. Lucy had a smile beaming from ear to ear the entire session and Eric just has this glow in his eye as he holds Lucy. We went down to my favorite spot in Laguna Beach and actually scored on the perfect weather. I look forward to November and capturing the BIG day!
Cheers to Jen + Guy on their engagement. I had the pleasure of meeting up with this good looking couple two weeks ago. We had a blast capturing love down in Rancho Santa Margarita. They definitely were naturals at this picture taking thing. I loved Jen's spunky personality and her fun outfits. Guy of course went the flow like a good fiance and even brought his rad Harley along. I have to admit a Harley makes for a great prop and fun at that. I can't wait to celebrate the two of you on 'The Big' day in October.
Carson turns 1 and gets the best birthday gift of all....PROMOTED to BIG brother. The Massey family is one of my sweetest clients. I met them back in November for a family session down in Laguna Beach. We had a great time and I enjoyed getting to know their family. I was so excited when Brittney had asked me to do Carson's one year photos. She then surprised me that she is pregnant with another little cutie on the way. Brittney and her husband are what you call Barbie and Ken :) and there son is by far the cutest. I am so excited for them and wish them many blessings! Can't wait to see you guys again for the next set of pictures.
I have been dying to show you all this beautiful wedding I did a few weeks ago. The style and spring vibes was right up my alley. Josh + Paige celebrated with their closest family and friends with a small intimate wedding. Each detail was so delicate and very thought through. I wish I could share the full wedding album but here are a few of my favorites.
Congratulations Josh + Paige!
Wedding season has begun and the first one to start the year was nothing short from amazing. Chris + Brittney's wedding was full of love ...everywhere. The chemistry between these two was a joy to watch all day. Brittney and I went to high school together and have some great memories together. She has a smile and laughter that can make anyone happy. Her kindness is contagious. Seeing her so happy and marry the man of her dreams warmed my heart. Literally everything about this wedding was fantastic. The wedding venue was gorgeous and very accommodating. They even let us have our own golf cart for the day to explore different photo ops. The family and friends were all so sweet and were ready to celebrate. I highly would recommend the DJ they had. I have been to many weddings and the DJ is the one person who makes the reception. He not only was great with song choices but he had almost any type of glow toy you could think of for the guest. He had this celebration of love to the next level. Let me just say it was a FUN WEDDING!!

++ a special thanks to the family who put on a beautiful wedding.
This sweet girl is about to graduate High School. She is a friends younger sister and is a joy to be around. We shared lots of laughs as we did her senior pictures. Her personality is contagious and if you are around her you will see the laughter and joy she brings. She was born with one full arm but this girl does NOT let that stop her from anything. She is courageous and lets that shine. Plus she totally rocks at it and makes it look so easy having just one hand. She is beautiful INSIDE and OUT. Thank you Nicole and I wish you the best of luck as you move into a new journey of your life. XoXo
I hit the jack pot with these two family photos. Have you ever seen such gorgeous people?! Brittany had reached out to me from a friend referral and was wanting some family pictures and pictures of their little guy Carson who just turned 6 months. Her sister in law was also wanting family pictures and pictures of the little cousins. So we decided to do 2 in 1 photos. You would never have guessed that it was raining just a few hours before we shot these photos. The weather was gorgeous and we sure lucked out and stayed clear from the rain. Both families were super photogenic and so sweet. The boys are little ladies man for sure (watch out ladies :). I had a great time catching the sunset and being surrounded by genuine happy people. This post is filled with more photos then normal simply because I couldn't narrow it down, they all are so cute!
Carson's first Christmas, Santa's coming to town!
What a little heart throb Jake is....
How did you spend your saturday? This weekend is one of those weekends where we have been going with the flow; no plans, sleeping in, in our PJ's till noon and then a last minute beach session with some park play. Luckily we live in wonderful Southern California where the sun is always shinning...well at least 90% of the time. The hubby and I met one of my girlfriend and her sweet kiddos down by the beach to eat some delicious El Burrito and then played in the park. Its days like these I could just soak up all the laughter and memories dear to my heart. I want my daughter to remember these kind of days, of course when she gets older and can remember :) Now that the baby is bed its time for some R & R for the hubs and I. Good Night
