Take a look at this gorgeous family. A few month's ago I had offered a family session for an Auction ( Prayers for Kylie) to help raise money for a family that lost their little girl to Leukemia. Marissa was supportive and purchased the family photos. So sweet of them to help such a family in need. I was so happy to finally meet the family after many emails back and forth over the past few months. The morning was spent with tons of laughter as the kids were full of silly faces and sweetness. Hard to believe but these were the families FIRST family photos ever. They were very pleased with the outcome and how fun the session went. I look forward to more family session's with the Brandel's.
Carson turns 1 and gets the best birthday gift of all....PROMOTED to BIG brother. The Massey family is one of my sweetest clients. I met them back in November for a family session down in Laguna Beach. We had a great time and I enjoyed getting to know their family. I was so excited when Brittney had asked me to do Carson's one year photos. She then surprised me that she is pregnant with another little cutie on the way. Brittney and her husband are what you call Barbie and Ken :) and there son is by far the cutest. I am so excited for them and wish them many blessings! Can't wait to see you guys again for the next set of pictures.
Have you payed it forward? Have you heard the phrase "People over Profit" (Dale Patridge). Its the beginning of a new year and my goal is to give as much as I possibly can. In January, I held a GIVEAWAY on Instagram for a FREE children session. What better way to start the new year with FREE things, portraits of your children and a fun afternoon down by the beach. These sweet kids were a blast to take photos of. A little over four years ago I met Skylar, the oldest when I worked at the Boys and Gils club. She has always been such a sweet girl and a smile that lights up the room. It was so great to see her and see how she has grown into such a caring individual. Laura, their mother was beyond excited to get pictures of her kids. She had expressed to multiple times how thankful she was for this opportunity and that she had never had pictures taken of her kids. That feeling alone is what gives me pleasure in what I am doing. The feeling that I am helping others in such a simple way of photos gives me Joy. I know she will cherish these photos each day that goes by. I am thankful I am able to help.
I challenge you to step out and pay it forward...even if its buying the stranger that's standing behind you a cup of coffee. A little bit of happiness can go a long way.
It's great to be a kid.
